Gravy Ingredients:
1 lb ground breakfast sausage (browned and drained)
4 oz cream cheese melted
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tsp xanthan gum (you can leave this out - but your gravy may be thin).
salt and pepper to taste

Biscuit Topping Ingredients:
2 cups carb quick
1/4 cup butter cubed
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup water

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat over to 400 degrees.
2. Mix gravy ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to an oven safe skillet or casserole dish. I use 9x9 or a 10" skillet.
3. Prepare biscuit topping by first working butter into carbquick until crumbly.
4. Add remaining ingredients and mix well until a dough forms.
5. If dough is too crumbly, add a little more water a tablespoon at a time, until dough holds together.
6. Break dough into small pieces and cover gravy mixture completely with biscuit pieces, layering on top of other pieces until all dough is used.
7. Bake for 20-25 minute until biscuit topping is golden and baked through.
